As a telecommunications company, Telefónica O2 is the owner of expansive databases of client data, which are intensively used within the firm as well as outside of it (by the general public in the form of printed and electronic telephone listings). The effectiveness of the service activities and customer centres depends on the quality of this information.
Profinit delivered to Telefónica O2 the Trillium Software System (TS), a world-leading software tool for cleaning data and verifying the quality thereof. The TS Quality software package proved effective in the area of remote cleaning of client data. TS Quality was later supplemented with the Trillium TS Discovery analytical tool. At Telefónica O2, TS Discovery is directly connected to an Oracle database, alongside which it can analyse any extracted data. Thanks to the software and services delivered by Profinit, Telefónica O2 was able to cleanse its client database and thus substantially increase the directness of its communication campaigns and restrict costs related thereto.
