As one of the most important systems at Prague Airport, CAODB requires monitoring and the ability to resolve potential error states uninterruptedly, 24 hours a day, every day. For this reason, detection of error states is a component of the CAODB architecture.

Properties:

• Monitoring of the entire architecture

The component monitors the entire CAODB system and upon detection of an error is able to respond adequately.

• Information about errors sent via SMS, e-mail

Reaction can consist in, for example, automatic elimination of the error or sending of an SMS or e-mail to the group of entities affected by the error.

• Maintenance tasks

The detection of error states component also includes tasks serving for maintenance of the system, such as backing up databases, updating statistics in tables, etc.

• Integrated as an HP OpenView agent

At Prague airport the component is fully integrated into HP OpenView architecture.
