The everyday operation of an airport involves information. Both airport employees and passengers need continually updated information on the course of each flight. CAODB is the only source of the data that are displayed at Prague Airport and is, for example, a source of data for the absolutely essential FIDS (Flight Information Display System) and the large LED displays placed in both terminals of Prague Airport.

Its connection as a data source to the Automatic Announcement system means, for example, that the great majority of announcements are made automatically.
