The mobile devices' basic means of communication is a wireless network. In the case of a failure in the wireless network, the mobile devices will automatically switch to communication via GPRS. Of course, this means of communication can be used by airports that still do not have a wireless network.

In the event that none of these signals is available, the mobile devices will automatically switch to offline mode (and will inform the user of this) and the entered data will be sent immediately when the connection is re-established. High availability of the solution is a matter of course.
