Tomáš Pavlík, CEO

Tomáš has been with Profinit since 1996. He has held the positions of Technical Support Engineer, Consultant, Project Manager and Professional Services Manager. Following Profinit's separation from Sybase, he became the company's Chief Operating Officer.

Tomáš is a graduate of the Department of Mathematical Structure, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University. Prior to joining Sybase, he worked in the computer-hardware industry.

                                  In his free time Tomáš dedicates himself to his wife and two daughters.

 

 

Pavel Jíhlavec, Sales Director

Pavel came to Profinit in 1999 to help launch the company's activities in the area of Business Intelligence. From his position as an analyst he advanced to management of Professional Services. Today he focuses on business and financial management.

Pavel is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague.

                                  Pavel spends his free time with his wife and two sons, ideally travelling or playing sports.

 

 

Mário Mitas, Competencies Director

Mário joined Profinit in 2004 and worked as an Application Development Consultant; later he became involved in business intelligence solutions. Gradually, he progressed from technical and analytical work to project management, and sale and support of products and services.

Currently, he is mainly involved in business development, consultancy, defining of Profinit products and services and strategic marketing. 
 

 

Tomáš Smolík, Professional Services Director

Tomáš joined Profinit in 2000. His primary task was to start the development of software systems and to introduce standard software process. He has been held all project roles. Nowadays, he is the Professional Services Director. Tomáš is a ČVUT Prague graduate, Faculty of Electrotechnical Engineering where he read software engineering at the Faculty of Computers. He continued in his studies at the University of Missouri-Rolla in USA, where he read Computer Science.

                                  He has been working in the field of software engineering since 1988. He is the author of the university course Software Engineering in Practice that is now taught by Profinit specialists at MFF UK, ČVUT FEL and ČVUT FIT Universities. He has been a Professional Member of the ACM since 1997.

 

Alena Beranová, Financial Manager

Alena in in charge of Profinit finance and back office. She joined in 2009 and in order to respond to the fast development of the firm she set up necessary administrative processes and built up a functioning Finance and Controlling Department.  Nowadays, she is focusing mainly on ensuring good quality reporting outputs to support sales, managerial decisions and to save costs. She studied at the University of Economics in Prague, reading Accountancy and Company Financial Management. 
                                

                                  She enjoys dancing in her free time.
